Known through the entertainment industry as one of the premiere commercial and video directors in both North America and Europe, Cameron Casey continues to raise the bar throughout the entertainment world through his work in film, broadcast and digital media as well as brand-focused programming.

Over the course of his career, Cameron has collaborated with some of the world’s top brands, ad agencies, studios, networks and celebrities to build a successful and diverse body of work that appeals to artists and audiences alike. Whether it’s through his work in development, production, post-production, branded entertainment, visual effects, new media or integrated platforms, Cameron’s recognition and respect continues to resonate throughout the continents.

Cameron’s distinct commercial style is easily recognized in his work, which includes spots for Mercedes, Jaguar, Estee Lauder (starring Elizabeth Hurley), Major League Baseball and Max Factor, for which he directed the “Make-up for Make-up Artists” campaigns for such hit movies as CHICAGO and The AVIATOR. In addition, he has helmed hundreds of music videos that span from rock, hip-hop, R & B, pop and country.

Recent projects include feature film THE HEAVY starring Vinnie Jones, Richard Attenborough and Stephen Rae, which was released in 2010, the HBO series “Zane’s Sex Chronicles” and the feature film THE OBAMA EFFECT starring Charles Dutton. His most recent music projects include videos for Snoop Dog and Amr Diab, one of the biggest stars in the Middle East.

Cameron began his career while still in design school by directing well-known videos from the early 90’s. His early hits include videos for artists such as Ice Cube, Method Man, RZA, Wu Tang, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Warren G, Spice One, MOP, Scarface, to name a few. He quickly moved to mainstream artists, working with Stevie Wonder, Tears For Fears, Boyz II Men, Missy Elliot, Tony Toni Tone, Phil Collins, T-Boz, Jermaine Dupri, among others. He has also garnered commercial acclaim, including a Clio nomination for the Gravediggaz and RZA from Wu Tang Clan video, “800-Suicide.”

He expanded into feature films in 2004 as Executive Producer on the highly acclaimed film NEVER DIE ALONE, starring David Arquette and DMX and distributed by 20th Century Fox. Cameron completed directing the feature BUDZ HOUSE, an urban comedy with an ensemble cast of comedians that included Faizon Love, Wesley Jonathan, Luenell and Gerald Kelly.

For the past five years Cameron has expanded his entrepreneurial horizons and been involved in a four Internet/new media start-up companies. As co-founder or partner he has had a successful track record helping raise nearly five million dollars resulting in one IPO and three acquisitions.

Successfully raised series A funding and built the network from zero to a 1 million users in less than 3 years using social media marketing. The company was eventually sold to Atrinsic, NASDAQ Global Market: ATRN.

Developed and managed key marketing teams and programs encompassing content, celebrity promotions, contests, events, street teams, grassroots and citizen marketing initiatives. Celebrity clients included Hayden Panettiere, Wyclef Jean, Mandy Moore, 50 Cent, Anthrax, Bow Wow, Fat Joe, PussyCat Dolls, Mudvayne, and My Chemical Romance.
